PERSONAL LIFE

🏠: I was born in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. 🐼 🌶️
📖: I enjoy reading books, both for academics and enjoyment. My interest spans across geographic origins and genres. Right now, I am reading Bayesian Models of Cognition (Griffith et al.) to enhance my knowledge of advanced quantitative approaches to studying human cognition. The last non-academic book I completed is One Hundred Years of Solitude (Márquez). The next few books on my list are Young Stalin (Montefiore) and Crime and Punishment (Dostoevsky). 

🎮: Though I do not have a lot of time to play video games, I still enjoy the ninth art a lot! The last 2 games I played in the last few months: Elden Ring, Disco Elysium.

✈️: I love trekking and traveling. See below for some pictures I took! The cities I have visited/purchased the flight ticket to visit in the Fall 2024 and before the Winter 2025 semester begins: Bogota, Istanbul, Rome, Seville, Granada, and Madrid. 

💃: Though being a non-dance major, I have taken a few non-major dancing courses at UMich including Afro-Caribbean, Afro-Jazz, and Round Fan in Chinese Classical Dance. In winter 2025, I would take Contemporary.
